Easy to hide.

Harder to show up.

Until we learn to show up.

Then showing up becomes easy and we realise that hiding away was so much harder than we were brave enough to admit to ourselves and the world.

Hard things become easy once you do them and easy things are always hard inside.

‘Serendipity’ by Philip Dodson

“Serendipity means a “fortunate happenstance” or “pleasant surprise”. The term was coined by Horace Walpole in 1754. In a letter he wrote to a friend, Walpole explained an unexpected discovery he had made by reference to a Persian fairy tale, The Three Princes of Serendip.” thanks, Wikipedia.

If you never show up in what you are doing each day, if you never share your ideas, never create any ‘art’, if you bend to be shaped by others and are not true to yourself, if you do not speak up, if you do not connect, if…..

Then there will not be many ‘fortunate happenstances’ or ‘pleasant surprises’.

Just keep sharing, creating, connecting and making a difference.

‘Chance’ opportunities rarely happen by chance.
